Yesterday’s Finance and General Purposes committee at Evesham Town Council was devoted primarily to considering grant applications from local organisations. I’m pleased to say that we were able to give money to the vast majority of organisations which applied for it. Interesting meeting of Evesham Town Council this evening. We heard a presentation from Peter Wisbey, from Evesham Talking Newspaper for the Blind, about a proposal to adopt a “street charter” for Evesham to help keep the streets clear of obstacles that can cause problems for those with limited sight and mobility.
